Ford has a plan to grow its electric lineup. In order to do that, the US based manufacturer has signed up a deal with Volkswagen, and the German marquee will provide a platform for development.
The first electric car developed by Ford with Volkswagen bits will be unveiled on March 21st. It will be based on MEB architecture, the same one used by the current VW ID. family.
More than that, the car will be an SUV, which means it will compete with the current ID.4 and ID.5.
For now we don’t have any other details about Ford’s future SUV, but stay tuned.
