This Ford Vertrek video was shot during the press presentation on Monday, when the Blue Oval announced that a compact crossover based on this concept will replace both the European and American Kuga in early 2013.
In terms of appearance the Ford Vertrek reflects the latest trends in Kinetic design, the car is also 5 percent more aerodynamic when compared to the Kuga, and it offers more space for its passengers and their luggage.
Under its bonnet the Ford Vertrek features a 1.6-litre EcoBoost engine with direct fuel injection and Start/Stop technology, while some of the car’s unique features that might disappear from the production version include a central glass roof which runs through the entire cabin and side view cameras.
