With the COVID-19 restrictions, the semiconductors crisis, and war in Ukraine, the car industry is suffering. And we can see that from sales around the Globe. In Europe, the situation is even tougher, and the current delivery dates for a new car are going higher and higher.
This is why, some car manufacturer have decided to stop taking orders for particular models.
Ford is one of them. Recently, the US-based car manufacturer has announced that it temporarly stops taking orders for Fiesta and Focus in Europe.
According to Automotive News, only preconfigured models can be ordered until further notice.
Ford sais that this situation has appeared after some disruptions in the supply chains. Probably this was caused by the factors that we have listed at the top of the news.
