Ford Racing has officially published the first details and teaser picture with the upcoming Mustang RTR. The new car will be based on the current Mustang generation and will go on sale starting next January. 

On the outside of the car we see a redesigned radiator grille with D-shaped inserts, a rear air diffuser with side splitters and center stakes at the back. In addition, the new 2015 Ford Mustang RTR comes with special wheels and a unique rear mounted wing. 

Under the hood, the new Mustang RTR will be available with the 2.3 liter EcoBoost engine rated at 300 horsepower and with the 5.0 liter V8 unit which can deliver 435 horsepower.

According to Ford Racing, many of these styling elements will be available as aftermarket parts through the official Mustang RTR website.
