Ford has revealed the detailed performance specs for the Euro-spec Mustang. The new model is set to become the fastest accelerating high-volume Ford model ever offered in Europe and it can be equipped with two different engines.
We are talking about a V8 5.0 liter engine with 421 horsepower and 530 Nm peak of torque. When it is matted to a six-speed manual gearbox, the car can run from stand still to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds.
The second engine choice will be a 2.3 liter EcoBoost unit that can offer 317 horsepower and 432 Nm peak of torque. This one car run from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds while the fuel consumption is clocked at 8 liters per 100 kilometers (29 mpg). If you are not happy with your Mustang look you can order the Performance Package. It adds a few exterior tweaks and a new suspensions and a modified cooling system.
The Euro-spec Ford Mustang will also be available with four selectable driving modes: Normal, Sport+, Track and Snow/Wet. Optional you can add the Launch Control system.
