Yesterday we announced you that Mercedes-Benz has published the first images and details of the new GLA Concept. The A-Class based crossover will make its official debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show that starts this weekend. 

Today, the German company has released the first video of the new GLA Concept. Under the hood, the prototype comes with the same engine on the A250 that can deliver 211 HP. 

The GLA Concept measures 4.38 meters long, 1.97 meters wide, 1.57 meters tall and has a 2.69 wheelbase. The production version of the GLA Concept will probably borrow the engine lineup from its A-Class sibling. We will see a variety of 4 cylinder diesel and petrol engines.

The production version will be officially unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show that will take place in September.
