Two years ago, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the EQA Concept during the Frankfurt Motor Show. In 2017, the prototype was based on a hatchback body, but now, the German officials have rerouted the plans and the EQA will be an SUV.
The new electric SUV developed by the Stuttgart based car manufacturer will be unveiled in the first part of 2020 and the sales will also start next year.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the new EQA will be based on the second generation GLA, the SUV being unveiled a few days ago.
We don’t have any technological details about the upcoming Mercedes-Benz EQA, but we do know that the concept car unveiled in 2017 featured two electric engines, one for each axle, and a battery pack that was able to deliver 400 kilometers.
