Rolls-Royce will reveal its newest model at the Geneva Motor Show in March but for now, the luxury automaker has released the first official teaser image of the Wraith. Also, there are some new photos that captures a prototype undergoing winter tests.
The British carmaker gave no details about the new model but it is likely to share many features with the Ghost. That means a 6.6-liter V12 engine, which in the Ghost is good for a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.7 seconds.
"Rolls-Royce Wraith will draw superlatives when it is unveiled in Geneva. Expect the boldest design, the most dramatic performance and the most powerful Rolls-Royce that has ever played host to the famous Spirit of Ecstasy figurine. We will present a model whose starting point is luxury, refinement and exclusivity", said the chairman Muller-Otvos.
The name "Wraith" was used initially back in 1938 when the original car was launched on the market, and then again from 1946 to 1959 when the Silver Wraith was unveiled. Now the company is preparing to use this name once.
