Keeping with Fiat raunchy ad style, the commercial shows an older man being summoned to bed by his wife. Before he goes, he decides to take a little blue pill. However, the pill misses his mouth and falls out a window and comically bounces around before landing in a Fiat 500 gas tank. The pill “enhances” the two-door mini car into a four-door Fiat 500X.
The ad has been available on YouTube, but this is its television debut. The final line of the 60-second commercial spot: "The Fiat 500X crossover. Bigger, more powerful and ready for action."
The 2015 Fiat 500x crossover debuted last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show and is available this spring.
