Everybody expected to see this: Ferrari Purosangue, the Italian brand’s first SUV, is a hit. How big? Let’s say that one Ferrari official has announced that the company has decided to temporarly stop the orders for Purosangue because the waiting list goes two years from now.
“It’s no secret that we stopped taking orders. We had such an interest without delivering one single car. We made a decision that we thought was consistent with the positioning of Ferrari and the model”, said commercial and marketing manager, Enrico Galliera.
The V12 SUV is also expensive, but this doesn’t scarred the customers. The Purosnague has a price tag almost doubled compared to Lamborghini Urus.
More than that, Ferrari announced at Purosangue’s launch that the SUV will account for no more than 20 percent of the automaker’s annual vehicle output.
