This crash video was taken on-board a dragster that uses a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder GM EcoTech engine developing 1,600 horses.
Fortunately for the driver (who also forgot to put his visor down before pushing the gas pedal), the dragster crash was not as spectacular as you might imagine when you read those ‘scary’ performance figures above, but it is still interesting to see just how important the roll cage is in this type of events.
The YouTube video description says the dragster crash was caused by a blown head gasket that dumped water infront of the tires casing the dragster to slip and hit the wall before flipping.
Watch the dragster crash video after the jump.
