Dodge has officially unveiled a fleet of Star Wars-theme models in order to promote the seventh installment in the series called Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The cars will patrol on the streets of Los Angeles this weekend and the fleet includes a Charger SRT Hellcat and a Challenger SRT Hellcat. Both models are having some styling cues borrowed from the First Order Stormtroopers. We are talking about a white exterior with black accents and tinted windows. Under the hood of the cars is a V8 6.2 liter supercharged engine ready to deliver 707 horsepower and 880 Nm peak of torque.
As a result, the Charger SRT Hellcat can run the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds and it can hit a top speed of 329 km/h.
But the leader of the pack is the black Viper ACR with a Kylo Ren-inspired wrap. Under the hood of the Dodge Viper ACR is a V10 8.4 liter engine that can offer 645 horsepower and 812 Nm peak of torque. It also has Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and a track-tuned adjustable suspension with Bilstein coilover racing shocks.
If you are a Star Wars or a Dodge fan you can track the cars in real-time on Twitter with the #Dodge and #TheForceAwakens hashtags.
