Dodge is targeting the US gas-grasping clients, who want an affordable car with a low consumption. The american manufacturer is offering a new Dart version, more economical and more powerfull.
The compact sedan comes equipped with a 1.4 liter, 4 cylinder MultiAir engine, sourced by it’s sister company Fiat and it’s subsidiary Alfa Romeo. The engine generates 160 horsepower and a torque of 249 Nm or 184 lb-ft.
Even so, when equipped with a manual transmission, the eco-Dart can reach an average consumption of 5.7 liters/100 km, or 41 mpg on the highway. The value rises if you equip your car with a double-clutch transmission, reaching 40 mpg in the same highway regime.
The new version of the Dart will be priced from $19.295 in the US. The standard equippment includes 10 airbags, automatic headlamps, cruise control, electronic stability control, power windows and locks, air conditioning, leather steering remote keyless entry, projector headlamps and power mirrors.
