The French from Automobile Magazine have published new details regarding the upcoming Dacia models which will enter the market by 2012.
The current lineup includes a wagon, a 4×4 and two sedans and the next models will be a compact minivan (codenamed the J92) and a small utilitarian (codenamed K67).
According to the French publication the affordable compact MPV will be measuring 4.5 m in length, will offer its seating for up to seven passengers, and will be badged as the Dacia Popster once it will hit the market. Pricing for the Dacia Popster is expected to be around 14,800 Euro, meaning 6,000 Euro less then the entry level Renault Scenic.
The second model (K67) will feature sliding rear doors with trunk access via two hinged doors (like on the Logan MCV), with power provided by a 85 HP diesel engine. This small utilitarian model from Dacia is expected to consume 5.5-litres of fuel per 100 Km, while its pricing will be somewhere between 12,000 and 14,000 Euro.
