Chrysler has just announced that they will begin selling the Black and Red special edition Ypsilon in the UK starting this month.
With this model the automaker plans on attracting new and different customers to the model range and to the Chrysler brand, with Nigel Land, brand director, Jeep Chrysler UK stating that "We’re delighted to be launching this new addition to the popular Ypsilon line-up," "With additional equipment worth more than 3000 GBP packed into a car that
starts from just 12,750 GBP, we believe Black&Red will become a
valuable member of the Ypsilon family."
The Chrysler Ypsilon Black and Red comes with a choice of three engines (0.9-litre TwinAir and 1.2-litre petrols, and 1.3-litre MultiJet diesel) plus a two-tone paint scheme, 16-inch multispoke design wheels, fog lamps, black glass and body coloured side skirts as standard.
Its interior also features black and rear fabric seat upholstery, dashboard and door linings, air conditioning, Blue&Me Bluetooth, and a 360-degree hi-fi system, and apart from the 1.2 petrol model for which pricing was mentioned above, the other two versions, the 0.9 TwinAir and the 1.3 MultiJet start at 13,950 GBP and 14,950 GBP respectively.

I think the Ypsilon is a quite funky little car. It is Chrysler in the UK and Lancia in Europe
Why can we not buy a Chrysler built car with a diesel engine in Canada? VW makes a great diesel engine they sell in Canada and there must be an engine from Italy from Fiat. I was hoping for years to get a PT Cruiser with a diesel engine, was never possible. Was hoping the 2013 Dodge Dart would have a diesel engine as an option. And, will Chrysler ever put a diesel in their vans. We are hoping to buy q 2014 Chrysler Town & Country with a diesel engine. We have a 2011 T&C now. Would like better fuel mileage.
