An official photo gallery with the Chrysler 200 Convertible has appeared online, and according to information offered at the Detroit Motor Show this week, an European version of this car, which will be badged as a Lancia, will get unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March both in sedan and cabrio body styles.
Based on recent rumors that have circulated around the web, the Lancia version Chrysler 200 might be badged the Flavia, and sales are expected to take off in 2012.
As for the Chrysler 200 Convertible which appears in the gallery below, the engine lineup will most likely include the same units available in the sedan, meaning the company’s 2.4-litre I4 and the 3.6-litre Pentastar V6.
The overall design of the Chrysler 200 Convertible has been slightly modified in order to accommodate the roof folding mechanism placed behind the rear seats, plus the car’s chassis has most certainly been stiffened.
