To celebrate its 60th year of Corvette production, Chevrolet has just released details and photos of the Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition. The special Stingray is blue, limited to 500 units, and it is based on the range-topping 3LT coupe model.
The future owners will be glad to find out that the car features a visible carbon fiber roof, hood stripe, and Torque-style chrome wheels.
Inside the cabin we find Brownstone suede and carbon fiber trimming, unique floor mats and a limited edition plaque with the car’s number.
Also, each car also comes with a 5 piece custom Corvette-branded luggage set. Perhaps one of the most interesting things is the fact that the car is equipped with the Z51 Performance Package along with Magnetic Ride Control.
Power comes from a 6.2 liter LT1 V8 capable of producing 460 bhp and 465 lb-ft of torque. With this features and its seven-speed manual transmission, the car will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds.
