A new comparison test from MotorTrend who this time have put the 2011 Corvette ZR1 against the 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo in a quarter mile drag race.
The 2011 Corvette ZR1 weights 3329 lbs, and its front engine sends 638 HP and 604 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in the 2011 Corvette ZR1 takes 3.5 seconds
The 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo weights 3500 lbs, and its traditionally positioned rear engine sends 500 horses ans 480 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. When sprinting from 0 to 60 mph, the 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo takes just 3.0 seconds.
