This is not the first time a Chinese automaker has drawn inspiration from a European model.  The new Changan Uni-K is a big SUV which was designed with some influences taken from the current Porsche Cayenne Coupe.

It has Y-shaped daytime running lights, pop-out door handles, 21 inch wheels and a profile that really can take you on a trip down to Porsche’s line-up. There are similarities also at the back when you’ll see the taillights merging with the light bar on the tailgate.

The Changan Uni-K is 4,865 mm long, 1,948 mm wide and 1,700 mm tall. Under the hood is a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol unit. We don’t know what the resources are, but on other brand models, the same unit comes with 229 HP and 360 Nm peak of torque. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

The car will go on sale only in China starting in the first quarter of 2021 at a price of about $27,000 USD.
