The Brits from Caterham confirmed the Superlight R600 model, which will be the fastest Seven ever created.
Under the hood, we find a 2.0 liter Ford Duratec engine that produces 275 hp (205 kW) and 200 lb-ft (270 Nm). All the power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox, with a Titan limited slip differential.
“Caterham racing just got even more interesting. As the fastest Seven we’ve ever built, this will provide our existing R300 racers with a real step up and a new and exciting challenge, even for experienced drivers. The R600 represents an increase in aggressiveness, although the linear power delivery of the supercharged engine makes it superbly drivable, much like the R300.” said Simon Lambert, Caterham’s Chief Motorsport and Technical Officer.
The new Caterham Superlight R600 can be yours if you are willing to pay 44.995 pounds.
