Caterham has unveiled the Seven 360 and 480 at Monterey Car Week in California, thus signaling the availability of both models in United States.
The new Caterham Seven 360 will cost 44,900 USD and is featuring a 2.0 liter Ford Duratec four-cylinder engine rated at 180 horsepower and 194 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the car can sprint from stand still to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 130 mph.
The new Caterham Seven 480 has a price tag of 52,900 USD and comes with the same engine as the Seven 360 but this time, the unit delivers 237 horsepower and 279 Nm peak of torque. As a result, the sprint from not to 60 mph is done in 3.4 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 140 mph.
As you may have read, Caterham Cars entered the U.S. market in January 2014 through its sole distributor Superformance. All vehicles are shipped to United States in part-built form and commercialized as rolling chassis.
