Carlsson has presented their new aerodynamic package and engine tuning program for the 2012 Mercedes ML, enhancements which use the ML 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC as the basis.
The Carlsson 2012 Mercedes ML is exhibited at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and the list of accessories for the exterior includes 22 inch alloy wheels, a restyled front apron which integrates new fog lights, a new grille with inserts made out of electro polished stainless steel, re-shaped side skirts and a custom rear apron that also accommodates the stainless steel, double flow exhaust resonator.
On the technical side, Carlsson has managed to boost the ML’s 3.0-litre V6 from 258 HP (190 kW) and 620 Nm of peak torque to 310 HP (228 kW) and 700 Nm via their supplementary C-Tronic control unit which also communicates all essential parameters and ensures compliance with all of the safety related limit values.
The C Tronic shuts off when temperature, emissions or the vehicle’s running characteristics are about to be affected.
Apart from that, the Carlsson 2012 Mercedes ML features the tuner’s latest generation C-Tronic SUSPENSION control unit with iPhone connectivity which allows the vehicle’s suspension to be configured via an app. Depending on conditions this lowering module can bring the ML closer to the ground by around 30 mm.
