The Molsheim based car maker Bugatti has organized the ultimate track day event at the Paul Ricard Circuit. The event was described as a unique experience for the company’s friends.
The participant could drive on the French circuit the Grand Sport Vitesse under the guidance of Pierre Henri Raphanel, one of the Bugatti test driver. As a reminder, the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse comes with a quad-turbocharged W16 unit that delivers 1.200 horsepower and 1.500 Nm. The sprint from stand still to 100 km/h is done in just 2.6 seconds, and the top speed is clocked at 410 km/h.
Bugatti also give the participants the opportunity to drive a Grand Sports model. It has "only" 1.001 horsepower and 1.250 Nm peek of torque.
