Bugatti Chiron was a big hit for the Molsheim based manufacturer. After selling all the 500 units, the producer come up with a pre-series model named Chiron Profilee.
And this unique car was sold at the auction. During the RM Shotesby event, the winner raised the price up to 9,792,500 euros or $10,761,223 at the current exchange rates. And this price is without VAT, which will bring the price up to 12 million Euros.
According to Mate Rimac, Bugatti-Rimac CEO, the Chiron Profilee holds the world record for the most expensive new car sold at auction.
This special one-off was developed to fill the gap between the regular Chiron and the Chiron Pur Sport. The car uses the same W16 engine with 1,476 horsepower.
