Brabus is back with a new badass tuning program, this time aimed at the open-top version E Class. As you all know Brabus is already famous for creating some of the word’s fastest machines, and based on their claims, this new upgrade program is no different.
So meet the BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet, the world’s most powerful and fastest four-seater cabrio, a machine on which the engine has been borrowed from the S600 model, but on which displacement has increased from 5.5-litres to 6.3-litres. This engine features optimised cylinder heads, two special exhaust manifolds which integrate larger turbos, four water-to-air intercoolers and a stainless steel high-performance exhaust, all of which help increase the output to 800 hp (788 bhp) / 588 kW at 5,500 rpm 1,420 Nm
(1,047 lb-ft) of torque.
Maximum torque is electronically limited to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) and all the power is directed to the rear wheels via a limited slip differential with a 40 percent locking rate and a reinforced five-speed automatic gearbox. The BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet can accelerate from 0 to 100 Km/h in 3.7 seconds (0 to 200 Km/h in 9.9 seconds / 0 to 300 Km/h in 23.9 seconds) and can reach a top speed of 370 Km/h (231 mph).
Apart from all the mechanical upgrades, the BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet has also been improved in terms of handling and stability, as the tuner has fitted the car with newly designed fenders, ultra wide wheels (9.5Jx19 with 265/30 ZR 19 tires) and an adjustable suspension that can be lowered by 35 mm.
The BRABUS 800 E V12 Cabriolet price starts at 478,000 Euro.
