BMW M8 could come in 2016

There are new rumors regarding the BMW M8, supercar that will be launched in 2016 to celebrate the 100th anniversary.

The guys from Car & Driver said that M8 will have an i8 platform with a tweaked version M5’s 4.4-liter V8 engine. The upgraded powering will be able to produce 600 – 650 bhp. 

In terms of design, it is said that the M8 will have some retro inspirations, wearing a structure made of lightweight materials like carbon fiber, magnesium, aluminum and titanium.  Under these conditions, the car should weight 2,760 lbs (1,252 kg).

Being so gifted, the M8 will approximately cost 250,000 Euros, (326,000 USD or 211,100 GBP).
