A second rumor today is mentioning that a limited edition BMW M3 GTS-R might be produced as the Bavarian automaker wants to celebrate its victory at the 2010 Nurburgring endurance race.
The BMW M3 GTS-R is expected to be covered in a matte black finish, with a new front apron and wider rear fenders as well a set of lighter alloys.
The BMW M3 GTS-R will also make extensive use of carbon fiber on elements like the rear bumper, front bonnet and roof.
Powering the BMW M3 GTS-R will be the company’s tweaked 4.4-litre V8 that should generate around 450 PS (331 kW) which get sent to the wheel via a 7-speed M dual clutch gearbox.
We’ll just have to wait and see if the BMW M3 GTS-R will become reality or not.
