BMW continues to unveil M Performance badged models as we get closer to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
This time we are talking about the BMW M135i Concept which unlike the rest of the vehicles part of the M Performance range, comes with a gasoline engine under its bonnet. This engine is a 3.0-litre straight-six cylinder unit with Twin Power Turbo technology that is expected to channel more than 300 HP to the rear wheels.
The BMW M135i Concept is a study that previews the actual production model which will most likely look identical to what we see in these photos once it hits the market, meaning that the Bavarian automaker will use the 3-door hatchback body rather than the 5-door due to its "more dynamic and elongated appearance".
Apart from that the M135i Concept features 18-inch M design alloys, an M sports braking system, an aggressive looking body kit and stickers featuring the M division’s colours.
BMW will host the world premiere of the M135i Concept on March 6th at 5 pm within the framework of the BMW DTM presentation. On the second media day the car will be showcased at the BMW stand.
