Autocar already had the chance of testing the most advanced BMW ever: the plug-in hybrid i8 supercar.
Set to become the top of the range model for BMW, the i8 uses a three cylinder petrol engine together with an electric one. The performance numbers are impressive for a hybrid supercar, with a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 4.2 seconds.
