TUNINGWERK is a German company that has its main office in Munich and specializes in BMW models.
Their latest project is based on the well acknowledged 1M Coupe, but TUNINGWERK refers to i as the 1st M RS, mostly due to its race car livery but also due to the impressive amount of horsepower it can deliver.
The car features an engine that was completely modified, a shortened transmission (3.25 transmission ratios, optionally 3.45 are also possible), a new differential lock suitable for the new power to weight ratio, a new cooling system and a sports exhaust system.
The BMW 1M Coupe with 521 HP by Tuningwerk rides on forged ATS superlight rims (19 inch) wrapped in Dunlop blow-up "Sport Maxx" tires (245/35R19 at the front and 285/30R19 at the rear) and uses a newly installed steel braking system featuring 370 mm in diameter discs by Mov’it (380 mm carbon ceramic discs also available).
On the outside the 1M Coupe received a GT4 front lip, a new engine hood, boot lid and rear spoiler, while the standard seats at the interior have been replaced by Recaro seats made out of carbon fiber.
TUNINGWERK says that their upgraded BMW 1M Coupe is capable of producing 521 HP (388 kW) and 614 Nm of torque from its 3.0-litre engine, and that its new top speed is 300 Km/h (depending on the type of tyres).
The 1M Coupe with all the upgrades we mentioned above costs 119,000 Euros.
