The latest step from the rather unusual unveiling process of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, consists of a video which shows the production version sports car without wearing any kind of camouflage.
We are suspecting that it won’t be long now untill the German automaker will drop the full picture on the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, along with detailed specifications regarding performance.
At this point we know that the BMW 1 Series M Coupe is based on the 135i, with power extracted from a 3.0-litre twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine capable of developing 340 HP, which means accelerating from 0 to 60 mph should take less than 5 seconds.
Transmission options for the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will only include a 6-speed manual, and the car will borrow its brakes and rear differential from the M3.
Public debut for the BMW 1 Series M Coupe will take place at the NAIAS.
