This new video presents an interesting project in which researchers at Virginia Tech work together with the U.S. National Federation of the Blind for building a blind drivable car.
In the initial phase the blind drivable car was a small buggy that was used for various tests and now the team has developed a Ford Explorer SUV that is hooked with all kinds of technology and gadgets that allows visually impaired people to get back on the roads.
It is only natural that the blind drivable car will raise some fear among some of the fellow motorists, but it remains to be seen if and under what conditions this ambitious could this project be applied.
