UK customers will now have the chance of getting the more powerful version Audi TT-RS as Audi has just announced pricing for the TT-RS Plus coupe and roadster models.
These versions are available with a manual or an S tronic twin-clutch transmission, and their prices will range from 48,945 GBP to 52,265 GBP.
If compared to the regular TT-RS, the Plus models benefit from a 20 PS and 15 Nm of torque power boost, which means they have a total output of 360 PS and 465 Nm. Their performance is also slightly better, considering that top speed has increased from 155 mph to 174 mph and the 0 to 62 mph sprint time has dropped from 4.3 to 4.1 seconds (the coupe version equipped with the S tronic transmission).
In terms of appearance the Audi TT-RS Plus distinguishes itself from the standard version through elements such as 19 inch Rotor design titanium look alloy wheels, the single frame grille with its matt aluminium surround and anthracite mesh, the carbon
fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) door mirror housings and the black oval
tailpipe trims.
The TT-RS Plus also comes equipped with satellite navigation, Bluetooth phone preparation, iPod connectivity, features which are normally found in the optional Technology Package.
Customers will be able to start placing their orders in May but the first deliveries are expected to happen in the summer.
