At this year’s 2012 Super Bowl XLVI Audi will show a 60 seconds spot that will highlight their Signature LED technology and the 2012 Audi S7.
The ad will air during the first quarter of the 2012 Super Bowl which will kick off on February 5th, with the story theme behind it remaining undisclosed at this point.
Scott Keogh, Chief Marketing Officer, Audi of America said that "With LED, there’s no mistaking an Audi. Since pioneering the technology
nearly ten years ago, LED lights have established the Audi persona have
become one of the most recognizable features on the road," "Like our LEDs, this year’s Super Bowl spot will be unmistakably Audi".
Audi’s LED headlights are the closest re-creation of daylight available on the market right now (5,500 Kelvin) and besides helping the driver’s eyes perceive more contrast they also engage almost instantly, as opposed to traditional lights which take 0.2 seconds, plus they require 50 percent less power from the alternator.
As for the 2013 Audi S7 the automaker’s 5-door coupe comes with a 4.0-litre TFSI engine rated at 420 HP and 406 lb-ft of torque, and some of its technology includes MMI Navigation backed by Google Maps and Google Search, plus a Wi-Fi hit spot for up to eight devices.
