Audi has decided to temporarily stop production of the A1 model in its factory in Brussels following this morning’s terrorist attacks. As you probably read, three explosions at the local airport and subway caused 31 deaths and 198 injuries.

Audi has cancelled the late shift in order to avoid any other potential tragedies caused by the terrorists. Audi has informed all of its 1,100 employees that were supposed to come at the factory for the late shift to stay safe at home.

In Brussels, Audi is manufacturing 250 units of the A1 model. Another decision will come quickly because for now the tomorrow morning’s shift is pending.
