This year, the 1984 Audi Sport Quattro is tuning 30 and the German car maker wants to celebrate this occasion by introducing a successor at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. According to Autozeitung colleagues, the model will be sportier and more aggressive that the 2011 Quattro Concept.
It will be much sharper and will use a lot of lightweight materials like carbon fiber reinforced plastic, aluminum and magnesium.
Under the hood the Audi Sport Quattro successor could come with a twin turbo 4.0 liter V8 unit that delivers 650 horsepower. This resource could enable the model to sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
If the car gets the green light it could be produce by quattro GmbH and cost approximately 115.000 Euros.
