Audi will soon unveil the RS Q8 performance SUV. But until we get the chance to see the production version of the model, Audi has made a PR stunt by sending a pre-production model around the Nurburgring.

And the car did its best and set a record lap time. Around the Nurburgring, the new Audi RS Q8 needed only 7 minutes and 42.2 seconds to complete a lap. And this is a record time. As a result, Audi RS Q8 become the fastest production SUV around the Nurburgring.

We don’t have more details about the car but we do know that it will feature the same powertrain as the new RS6 Avant.  As a result, the V8 4.0 liter unit will deliver 600 horsepower and 800 Nm peak of torque. The not to 62 mph is done in 3.8 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 190 mph.
