German tuning house MR Car Design has finished developing their latest performance upgraded for the Audi Q7 and its 4.2-litre TDI engine.
In order to make the 2008 version look like a 2010 model, the SUV has received new daytime running lights and an LED indicator strip, while the 4.2-litre engine powering the Audi Q7 by MR Car Design is now able to generate 374 HP and 870 Nm of torque instead of 326 HP and 760 Nm, due to an optimized engine software, and a double pack K&N air filter.
The Audi Q7 by MR Car Design has also received a set of 22 inch double spoke design black alloys wrapped in Icebear W300 tires (size 265/35-22) plus the interior can be fitted with an RS6 steering wheel, upon customer desire.
Pricing details regarding each upgrade performed by MR Car Design on the Audi Q7 available in the press release below the jump.
MR Car Design press release :
FLOATING ON CLOUD Q-SEVEN – by MR Car Design
Full-scale discussions of sense and nonsense of all SUVs are near to the
end but without any tangible result because the sales figures of this
very noble vehicle (if they are actually used as such) from Ingolstadt,
Munich, Stuttgart or Zuffenhausen are still unexpectedly high. The team
led by Marc Reilly, head of the MR Car Design Company from Erftstadt,
recently has chosen an Audi Q7 for reconstruction in order to allow the
drivers to float on a cloud.
Aforementioned Q7 has been subjected to additional modification of
daytime running lights from 2008 to 2010 levels, installation of LED
indicator strip and performance improvement, so this noble racer is very
close to new recently face-lifted model. The cost of such upgrade is
6999 Euro.
The software optimization of the 4.2-liter TDIs by MR Car Design from
326 to now 374 hp – while the maximum torque rises from 760 to currently
870 Nm – and withdrawal of tiresome Vmax lock add additional 799 Euros.
Use of double-pack K & N air filter adds 160 Euros.
Road adherence in this case is provided by 22-inch alloy wheels MRGT22
in 9.5 inch width and Icebear W300 tires in dimension of 265/35-22 at a
price of 2599 Euro total, with deep intervention in the electronics that
results to extra 299 Euro. If the interior of the Q7 is also important
for you, this can be helped by modification of steering wheel from the
current Audi RS6. The price for this is available to interested parties
on request.
So, with such Q-Seven-league boots, one can for example go to the land
of polar bears and will not be particularly noticeable among the funny
animals…
