Another video launched on Audi TV, this time offering a presentation of the Audi Q5 hybrid quattro which represents the automaker’s first hybrid SUV.
With the Audi Q5 hybrid quattro the company wants to offer the performance level of a V6 with mileage of a 4-cylinder TDI, and to achieve this, they have combined a 2.0-litre TFSI engine (211 HP and 350 Nm of torque) with progressive hybrid technology with an electric motor that produces an additional 45 HP and 211 Nm of torque.
This hybrid powertrain enables the Audi Q5 hybrid quattro to sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h in 7.1 seconds, and reach a top speed os 222 Km/h. Emission levels are at around 170 grams per Km, and the Audi Q5 hybrid quattro can travel up to 3 Km on pure electric power, at a speed between 60 Km/h and 100 Km/h.
The Audi Q5 hybrid quattro will be launched on the market in 2011.
