The new Audi Q3 version 2.0 TDI SE Quattro is the subject of Autocar’s latest test drive, so if you follow the jump you’ll find out what they think about this compact premium off roader destined to battle with the BMW X1 and the brand new Range Rover Evoque.
Priced from 28,460 GBP the Audi Q3 2.0 TDI SE extracts its juices from a 4-cylinder 1968cc turbodiesel which delivers 175 bhp at 4,200 rpm and 280 lb-ft of torque at 1,750 rpm. The car weights 1,660 Kg and spins all four wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch automatic. Consumption figures for the Audi Q3 indicate the car returns 47.9 mpg (combined UK cycle)  while CO2 emissions are 156 grammes per Km.
What can the Q3 2.0 TDI SE do in terms of performance? well its 0 to 62 mpg acceleration time is 8.2 seconds while its top speed os 132 mph.
For now Autocar thinks the Audi Q3 is a refined, well rounded and desirable family car that offers limited practicality, and it remains to be seen how the car will ride and handle on the long run.
