Audi has big plans for the Chinese market. According to a recent press release, the Asian market will receive a special version of the revised A8 model.
Its name is Audi A8 L Horch (I’m sure that you have heared before about the Horch name) and it will be the top of the line. Just like Mercedes has the Maybach.
The Audi A8 L Horch will be 130 mm longer than the standard A8 and thanks to the extra space, the rear seats can now be ordered in more versions. Because the A8 L Horch is a car to be driven around.
On the outside there are some exclusive paints, 20 inch wheels and a special badging.
Under the hood of the model is a V6 3.0 liter engine which can deliver 340 horsepower and 500 Nm peak of torque. It is matted to an eight speed automatic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system.
