These are the first sketches with the Audi A3 Sedan, a concept which will be premiere in Geneva next week, and which according to various sources, represents a spiritual successor of the Audi A80.
The Audi A3 Sedan Concept measures 4 m in length, 1.84 m in width and 1.39 m in height and will features newly styled headlamps, horizontal LED taillights and the automaker’s new 6-corner grille.
Under the bonnet the Audi A3 Sedan Concept accommodates a 2.5-litre turbocharged 5-cylinder engine developing 408 bhp which spins all-four wheels through a 7-speed S tronic transmission. The production version of the Audi A3 Sedan Concept is expected to hit the market in 2012, with this new model intended to enhance the automaker’s potential on markets where customers prefer sedans rather than hatchbacks.
We’ll be back with more details and new photos with the Audi A3 Sedan Concept on March 1st.
