Last week, the Ingolstadt based German automaker was presenting us with an initial set of sketches featuring the Audi A2 Concept. Today, the company issued another set of photos, but this time we get to see their zero emission hatch through computer renderings.
Apart from publishing these new photos, Audi did not mention anything new about the A2, or its powertrain, so here is what we know about it so far : it uses a pure-electric propulsion system, it measures 3.8 m in length, 1.69 m in width and 1.49 m in height, and its LED technology has entered into the second stage, meaning it creates high-resolution light through a package of LEDs and microreflectors.
Thanks to these new photos we also get a clear view of the A2’s interior, where the automaker has combined minimalism with futuristic styling.
Is is still unknown if the Audi A2 Concept will go into production, but if it does we should see a similarly styled hatch available on the market sometime in 2014.
