Automobili Turismo Sport (ATS) is an Italian niche car maker created by Ferrari F1 engineers in 1962. Today, ATS has released the new Sport 1000 model. It comes with a chassis made of stainless steel, covered in aluminum who weighs only 55 kilograms. The body can be attached in only 5 minutes and has 57 kg.
According to ATS, the car is available on the market in both FIA/CSAI compliant race and road legal licensed versions.
The Italian car maker said that the new model can be ordered as a fully built car or without a drive train. If you want the last variant you will have to choose from any 4 cylinder motorcycle unit to install on the car made by Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, MV Agusta or Honda.
The street version of the ATS comes with a Kawasaki Ninja 1000 unit that can deliver over 200 horsepower. It has only 500 kg and can the price starts at 43.500 Euros.
