The British sports car manufacturer has released the first official video with the Aston Martin Virage which was exhibited in coupe and cabriolet (Volante) body styles at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Positioned between the DBS and DB9 in the automaker’s GT line-up, the Aston Martin Virage is fitted with a 6.0-litre V12 powerplant that is capable of unleashing 490 bhp (365 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque via a six-speed automatic transmission (Touchtronic II) sitting on the car’s transaxle.
The Aston Martin Virage goes from nought to 62 mph (0 to 100 Km/h) in 4.6 seconds and can go as fast as 299 Km/h.
Aston Martin claims that through the new Virage it has reached the highest levels of refinement and dynamic control, and in order to underline that statement, the car comes fitted with a new Adaptive Damping System that alloys five different stiffness modes along with Dynamic Stability Control and carbon ceramic brakes.
Besides pointing at this new model’s dynamic character, the video below also highlights some of the car’s newly designed elements, but you’ll be able to see that for yourself once you hit the lay button.
