In a second review video coming our way courtesy of Autocar, we get to see how does the Aston Martin Rapide racer behave on track in comparison to the road going version.
By featuring the normal safety modifications necessary for racing, removing much of the interior, and replacing the glass windows with plastic, the Aston Martin Rapide racer weights with around 500 Kg less than the toad car, while in terms of suspension things are pretty much the same.
The Aston Martin Rapide racer also comes with the same powertrain as the road car, meaning a 470 bhp V12 which surprisingly for a race car, comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The racing version also features 18 inch wheels instead of 20 inches, and overall the car is nicely balanced and easy to drive. However a customer version of the Aston Martin Rapide racer will not be available, as the car represents just a developer exercise.
