A few weeks ago, Aston Martin has announced the launch of its first electric car for 2025. Now, it is time to find out some new details about the electric plans of the Brits.

According to a recent report, the British manufacturer will develop a new BEV platform. This means, there won’t be only one electric model. Also, this means that the electric cars of the company will be proper ones, not conversions of the current petrol-powered units.

Over the next five years, Aston Martin intends to invest over £2 billion ($2.54B) to fund its “Racing. Green.” sustainability strategy. All cars will be offeered with an electrified powertrain option by 2026 and the core models will become pure EVs by the end of the decade.

In order to achieve great performance, the electric ones will be developed with help from Lucid. On the convention powered vehicles, Aston Martin will continue to work with Mercedes.
