Cupra has a long standing partnership with Barcelona. All the players get the chance to choose a car and drive it for a year.
FC Barcelona forward Ansu Fati has joined CUPRA as its latest ambassador.
The young star joins the premium Spanish automaker to boost the brand’s international recognition and is the second FC Barcelona player to become a CUPRA ambassador, after German goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen.
Earlier this year, Fati starred in CUPRA’s ‘Going Forward’ campaign, which featured CUPRA Born.
One of FC Barcelona’s newest stars, who was recently listed by NXGN 2021 as the best teenage footballer on the planet, was chosen as he is part of the next generation of young challengers who are behind the transformation of the world in the age of electrification.
The youngest-ever player to score a goal in the UEFA Champions League visited the Martorell facilities and met with President Wayne Griffiths at the CUPRA Headquarters. Fati had the opportunity to learn about the brand’s future projects during his visit to the Design Centre, where he was welcomed by the new Design Director, Jorge Diez.
The forward also took the opportunity to configure his own CUPRA Formentor, as did 19 of his teammates at a recent event that CUPRA organised at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
