A couple of weeks ago, Alpine launched a special edition of the A110 dedicated to the founder of the company. It is now time for another special car.

Its name is the Alpine A110 Tour De Corse 75 Special Edition, and it was developed in order to celebrate a second place – yes, you read correctly – at the 1975 Tour de Corse rally.

Back in those days, an Alpine A110 Berlinette and a Lancia Stratos HF fought hard for the win, and it all came down to the final special stage. The A110 trailed between 5 and 30 seconds before the last timed sector, but both set identical times in this final battle as the Alpine came within 32 seconds of the highest step of the podium.

This special edition will feature some exterior bits that remind us of the original. It is yellow with some black accessories, and has special racing seats that can be equipped with proper motor racing seatbelts.

Just like any other special edition, the car will be produced in a limited number of only 150 units.
