This is a funny thing: Alfa Romeo doesn’t have an electric car in its line-up. According to the Italian manufacturer, the first EV will be unveiled in 2024. Until than, you can order the PHEV Tonale SUV, which is a compact model slotted under the Stelvio.
But according to Alfa Romeo CEO Jean-Philippe Imparato, the Italian manufacturer started working on a fully electric E-segment vehicle for North America. Hold your horses, since the model won’t be available until 2027.
Alfa Romeo is part of Stellantis, and the Italian manufacturer wants to increase its sales outside Europe to 40% by 2030. Alfa Romeo also wants to have only battery-electric vehicles in its lineup by 2027.
